3/18/2023 0 Comments Star fox 64 reviewsThis is without a doubt the best looking game currently available on the Nintendo 3DS. The ships appear sleek and sexy, the ground and water look stunning, and the particle effects look great. Everything in Star Fox 64 3D has been been given a glorious coat of paint, and the graphics are even comparable to that of the Nintendo Wii at its finest. While the multiplayer overall is less-than-ideal, the graphics and 3D are some of the best I've seen on the Nintendo 3DS to date. All three of these modes make for a nice change of pace, and help to mix things up when you're starting to get sick of the same mode over and over again. The individual who has scored the most points before time expires will secure the victory. Looking at the multiplayer side of things. The final mode is 'Time Battle,' and it throws competitors into battle with a set amount of time. The single player is a blast, but I cant help but feel Nintendo cashed in the remake card a little too early here. 'Point Battle' gives participators points for destroying their enemies, and the first person to reach the set number of points will walk (fly?) away with a victory. While the polygon-look was very primitive. Coupled with the FX chip (a software coprocessor enabling the usage of 3D polygons on the SNES), Star Fox was a console game that looked like no other at the time. The control on the arwing was slow, the voicing was dorky, and the graphics looked as if it came out of a Namco space shooter game. 'Survival' is a standard "last man standing affair" where players will fight until there is only one left standing. Nintendo really pushed the technological boundaries of the 16-Bit era when it released the original Star Fox. There are a total of three different types of modes that can be played in the game's multiplayer.
